WHAT DOES THE TREATMENT DO?
Our Titan XL system utilizes a safe infrared light to heat the dermis deep below the skin’s surface. This is one of the top leading skin tightening procedures on the market today. This heating causes not only immediate collagen contraction resulting in a tighter skin, but also continues to cause a gradual tightening of the skin for several months. During the treatment, the skin’s surface is protected through the patented Sapphire crystal cooling tip. After the treatment, new collagen growth results in further improvement of lax skin, folds, and lines.

WHAT AREAS CAN BE TREATED?
Virtually any part of the body which contain skin that has become loose over the years, due to aging or post-pregnancy. The most common areas on the body that we treat are the face, neck, decollete, abdomen, breasts, and upper arms. Titan XL can also be used on the inner thighs and buttocks. Titan XL is safe for all skin types.

HOW LONG WILL THE TREATMENT TAKE?
The actual treatment time depends on the area that is being treated. The face and neck generally take an hour and a half. Larger areas on the body, such as the abdomen and arms, may take longer.

HOW MANY TREATMENTS ARE NEEDED?
Generally 3 treatments are needed for the desired results, depending upon the starting condition of the skin. Each treatment can be performed every 4 weeks. After you have completed your treatments, we recommend a Titan XL treatment once every 2-3 years to maintain optimal results of your treatments.

WHAT DO THE TREATMENTS FEEL LIKE?
When the hand piece is placed on the skin, it will feel cool and comfortable due to the sapphire crystal tip reinforcement. When the pulse is delivered, you may feel a heating sensation, lasting briefly during each pulse.

IS A TOPICAL ANESTHETIC APPLIED PRE-TREATMENT?
No. Our Titan XL system requires no topical anesthetic pre-treatment. *Numbing cream should never be applied pre-treatment, except for skin resurfacing treatments.

WHAT RESULTS CAN BE EXPECTED?
Most will see a tighter skin, marked reduction in deep and moderately deep lines, and a reduction in fine lines even after the first treatment. However, Titan’s benefits continue gradually over several months following treatments as a result of both stimulating new collagen growth and tightening that same new collagen with subsequent treatments.

WHAT IS NEEDED TOPICALLY POST TREATMENT?
Every client having Titan XL performed will need an antioxidant serum and a sunscreen, in order to protect the newly stimulated skin.

IS THERE RECOVERY TIME INVOLVED?
No. You can receive a treatment and go right back to work. Makeup can be re-applied immediately afterwards. There is a rare possibility, that post treatment your skin may be slightly pink for up to an hour from the heat used.
